Immersive cultural installations celebrating the Year of the Rooster, designed and delivered in just 4 weeks. In partnership with Yakusan, we delivered four immersive Lunar New Year installations across The Star Casino, Pyrmont Bay Park, Martin Place, and Randwick Racecourse. Responsible for concept design, development, and implementation, we successfully transformed each space in under a month to celebrate the Year of the Rooster.
Task
Design and implement four stunning temporary installations celebrating the Year of the Rooster across key Sydney locations. Deliver a culturally meaningful, visually impactful experience within an ambitious 4-week timeframe.
To celebrate the Year of the Rooster, we partnered with Yakusan to deliver a series of immersive Lunar New Year installations across Sydney’s most iconic venues: The Star Casino, Pyrmont Bay Park, Martin Place, and Randwick Racecourse. Designed, developed, and implemented in under 4 weeks, these dynamic pop-ups captured the spirit of the Lunar New Year while providing visitors with memorable cultural experiences.

Transforming The Star into a cultural destination, this installation highlighted intricate details and elegant design, drawing guests into the festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year. - Pyrmont Bay Park & Randwick Racecourse:
These outdoor installations balanced scale, structure, and storytelling—creating inviting spaces for celebration, community engagement, and cultural appreciation.
